Dear Family
I
made it safely! The curb is actually the way to do it. I didn't even
have time to feel sadness or regret, they just checked me in and I
headed to class. I met the other seven members of my district. They are
all awesome. There is not a dud here! haha.
So
remember when we said hundreds are checking in the same day? Almost
700 arrived in Provo yesterday. I saw Lyle Sutton from Madison and today
I saw Robbie but other than that, I don't know anybody. There are 16
elders and sisters that arrived yesterday that are going to Vancouver.
My
companion is Elder Luke Wilson from Bountiful Utah. Actually about 85%
of the missionaries here are from Utah. Elder Wilson has an interesting
sense of humor, but he has a strong testimony and he knows what he is
talking about. So the day was great. I really felt the spirit more than I
ever have. Having said that, the first night was pretty rough. I felt
like I had a big knot in my stomach and I didn't sleep very well, but I
felt better in the morning. I have been really busy, but I am learning
so much.
Did
you all get home safely? How is the family reunion? Hey Austin and
Carson, there is a sister going to Vancouver who looks and acts just
like Tammy. It is hilarious. I learned some things about the director of
all those funny church movies. Amazing what you pick up in the MTC!
Love, Elder Reiley
P.S. I need a laundry bag!
